I don’t have much time, so this post will be real quick…
One of the big new features of the upcoming version 3.0 is that it will be strictly OPDS 1.1 compliant. This means that, unfortunately, non-compliant client software (who said Stanza ?) won’t be supported anymore, but also that we will fully provide newer clients with all the new features OPDS 1.1 offers.
My favorite enhancement is the “featured books” catalog, which can be rendered beautifully by the client software :

We’re also thinking about implementing facets, but it would be more useful to a dynamically generated catalog… Still thinking, then…
